Chapel

We visit the church sanctuary to share simple bible stories and songs led by either our Preschool Director or WFPC Ministry Staff. It's a gentle, friendly way to share the love of Jesus with his smallest disciples.

 

Music

Each class includes singing, movement and instrument exploration. We always build on the songs... we never settle for just singing them! We add movements, change the words, add instruments...

Lunch Bunch  

Lunch Bunch is an optional extra hour offered two  and three days a week for our 4's and 5's, from 12:15-1:15. Pack a peanut-free lunch and extend the day by one hour. If you would like to enroll or receive more information about Lunch Bunch, please check the box on the registration form requesting more information and it will be sent to you.

Field Trips

All age groups have field trips to enhance their in-class experiences throughout the year. We do both in-house field trips (for example, The NC Museum of Natural Sciences will visit us with some interesting creatures) and adventures out in our community (visiting the fire station, picking strawberries, or going to Blue Jay Point). For the safety of our children, transportation to offsite locations is the responsibility of our families.

Special Celebrations 

We consider your whole family to be a part of our preschool, and we like to get everyone together! Throughout the year, we have several school-wide celebrations to which you are invited to share in the joy. We have a Fall Festival in October, complete with a costume parade and carnival-style games. Our children love to share our annual Christmas Program in December. In the spring, families will be celebrated with special events.
